Meet One Of The Faces Behind S & J Cleaning and Restorations
I’m Josh Chandler, the co-owner of S & J Cleaning and Restorations.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I initially got into this line of work when I needed a new job and saw an opening for kitchen exhaust cleaning, carpet extracting, and floor waxing. I took up the job offer about a year ago and met my current business partner there. As colleagues and then friends, we quickly gained each other’s trust and felt that together we could provide even better services to help our community with whatever they needed!
After acquiring enough experience, my partner and I struck out on our own and started S & J Cleaning and Restorations. We have been in business for a mere four months now and plan on making it to a point where we can provide more services and jobs for our community.
Despite our newness to the industry, compared to when it first started, we have grown beyond our expectations. Currently, we receive steady work from our clients throughout the week, but we’re looking ahead for more business from the people in our city (Winnipeg) and surrounding areas.
I believe that our success so far has been the result of our past experience and leadership skills. Most of the jobs that we do today, we’ve already done over a hundred times before, so we know what we will be up against most of the time, and can tackle it efficiently. As for our leadership, we both know when to take charge of a tough situation.
At the same time, we maintain open communication with our clients so that they are aware of everything we plan on doing. Our clients enjoy our honesty because they don’t have to fear hidden fees or surprise costs. All our prices are determined based on specific reasons, and to know what they are, all our clients have to do is ask. By building mutual trust between our clients and us, we aim to stand out as a local business and one-stop-shop in the industry of cleaning and restorations.
Besides building trust, we also want to be reliable to our clients. As a result, we take on every job thrown our way no matter how big or small or tough it may be. We simply do our best to find a solution for every predicament, so our clients know that we can serve them as well as any other business, if not better.
The most enjoyable part of this job is seeing the outcome of each project. I absolutely love comparing the before and after results! Similarly, recognizing that our clients are delighted with our work and happy to tell others about our services brings us great joy.
Apart from these little pleasures, I am proud of the moment we registered our business, and I was able to see my ideas coming to life. I never realized how exciting it would be to run my own business, but now I am pleased that I gave it a shot.
When I am not helping people with their restorations and cleaning requirements, I love taking care of my dog. I also like going camping and fishing, or simply enjoying a cool beverage out on a patio with close friends and relatives. Apart from these activities, I try to set aside time to think of ways to improve our business further and offer more assistance to our community.
